man this is the first time that i have been to this paticular part of questions and answers.
there are alot of people talking about how bad America and Americans are.you know we as people are all prejudice in some way or another.we all have something bad to say about something or someone else.it is human nature.it is what we are taught from the time we are little,we see it as kids on tv everyday.i try not to be too bad or prejudice.but i will admit i am.we all are to some point.and if u say ur not that is a lie.
but why get on here and talk so bad about us americans?this is one place u can come and atleast have a half way decent life.im not saying its the only place.i could'nt tell u that.i have not been anywhere else but canada, and i had a great time up there.so before we get to judgemental and talk so much crap lets just sit and think of it for a min.
i guess thats all i have to say.some may agree with me,some may think i'm an ***.but i am human, not perfect either.

I'm a canadian

i'm afraid of the states and would rather not go there if paid to.

sorry, generally you guys are nutz and i know nutz

outlawing your own brain chemicals making the whole country criminals including the commander in chief
oh well perhaps someday when you learn that people don't have any say during times of war while the president is commander in chief so true democracy will not happen because you are always at war with someone.

Make war illegal and it will solve most of the planets problems and give the UN a global military from all countries to break up and stop anyone who tries. If it was against the law to war you would be able to vote for your president wouldn't that be nice eh instead of a commander in chief for a change.

The military doesn't need to fired but inside the country has a lot of its own problems and the might of the military could help a lot of life at home with the resources they pay for oil to go to war and the people the best resource.

Solve your own problems and the world will see you won't have to force them to do it your way.

Revolution comes out of better ideas that antiquate the older ones that don't work as well.

I know you will grow and i hope to feel comfortable there one day but not today.

Love ya little sister from your big brother canada.

You can thank the Anti-anything America Defeatacrat/Demoncrap Party.
They are such sorry losers they would rather bash America than admit they have no Plan, and are Reason-less, Fact-less losers
Wanting to ruin America because they lost a few elections. Hateful, spiteful, anti-Anything America is what they are and all they have
Is this the sort of thing you were talking about?

I want to agree with you but I don't.

The United States of America is just about finished as a great nation.

1. We are borrowing $2 billion every day from our old World War II enemies (Japan and Germany) as well as the world's largest and most successful dictatorship, mainland China. No one is doing anything about it. When they own us, our government is enslaved to them. We were so in debt to Tokyo that, in 1992, Bush Sr. choked, fainted with fear, and vomited at a state dinner with the Emporer. The debts have mounted up since. No one has a plan to reverse this.

2. We are engaged in a war where we've been breaking the law and torturing prisoners. One billion Islamic people in the world are now our enemies on these illegal orders coming from "W" and Cheney. It has cracked NATO and the cracks are growing every day. There's an advertisement in the American Legion monthly magazine offering a bribe of $1,000 to Army veterans who can cajole a teenager into enlisting in the Army --that's how bad they want cannon fodder for Iraq. I've never HEARD of anything like this, bribing veterans to lie to kids to get the numbers up.

Being who they are, "W" and Cheney took the dismal Army recruiting numbers and lowered the official number of new men needed so they'd "match" and there was no "official" shortfall.

We've just bumped the numbers of troops in Iraq up to 140,000, extended tours, and the generals want more men. This is in a country where the civilians are killing each other because of religion, dozens a day. We have a military colonial occupation of a nation that is engaged in a civilian-on-civilian religious civil war.

How many Japanese were killing other Japanese three years after we beat them and occupied the country? How many Germans were killing other Germans in 1948 in the third year of our occupation?

3. What are you going to tell kids in uniform who are ordered to torture and degrade civilians held for years without trial? What do YOU say to that kid NOW from your lounge chair in Texas?

4. I'm a bookeeper, a retired bookeeper. When you make a promise with financial consequences, you have to calculate it and put it on your balance sheet if you're a publically traded company (like all the corporations traded on the New York Stock Exchange or NASDAQ do). City and State goverments have to do this, too, starting in 2008 under goverment auditing standards. The federal government doesn't have to do that, yet.

ONE SINGLE GOVERNMEN PROGRAM, "medicare," has a net unfunded debt of $66 trillion dollars. that means it has promised to provide $66 trillion in benefits it doesn't have the resouces for. This is a $14 trillion economy. "Where is that money going to come from?"

My friend, you are going to live to see the day when we don't have the money to defend ourselves, living under a flag that can't buy a single new plane or tank, that is hopelessly in debt to our defeated enemies (Germany and Japan) and the world's largest and most determined dictatorship (the Chinese politburo). We're under-occupying a fictional nation (Iraq) in which dozens die daily, our President is breaking the law and ordering torture (and, in 98 cases, death of these uncharged prisoners --there's a name for that, "state sponsored murder") and our kids aren't stupid enough to join the army and jump into this meat grinder.

The liberals got us into this mess with their bedpan socialism and their incompetent president (read "No One Left To Lie To," Christopher Hitchens book about Billy Jeff Clinton.

The religious' right's stooge, "W" can't go a day without an unnecessary war Jesus tells him to fight (read "American Theocracy" by Kevin Philips).

No, I'm not going to sit down at the picnic table and comfort you that things are all right. America is bankrupt, a drunken dinosaur squandering its heritage, and no one is doing anything about it.

They are too busy bitching to realize what it has cost for their freedom to do this.

I'd like to see them try this under the likes of OBL, Saddam and others of the Islam world
