fasting allows the t cells to cleanse your body of the stored toxins, fats, chemicals. etc that is stored .in the fatty parts of the body mostly.after three days of fasting you will get a little dizzy.because of the release of this into your blood stream, after that you can fast a few more days, but do not fast if you have health problems consult your doctor if you are considering a long fast.the health benifits are that you will feel better . your body will not be as polluted. with all the harmfull substances that get into our body.there simply will be a balanceing of your whole body . your body will in many ways will be a better organisim

i always feel much healthier during ramadan for some reason...maybe cuz im not so focused on food and going through a drive thru to eat grease i look forward to the nice healthy meals we get to prepare each night

I used to 24 hour fast, but it stemmed from an eating disorder, although I always loved how clean and empty I felt afterwards

It's the water that cleanses you when you fast. There are toxins locked up in your digestive system that can't be flushed unless you drink nothing but water for 48 hours.
