Get her onto Omega 5 Oil capsules available from most chemists - now. Start with 3 per day and persevere with them for at least 3 months. You should see a marked improvement. you can then go down to 1 capsule per day.

We started our daughter on them nearly 2 1/2 years ago before the benefit became well advertised. Believe me - they work. Keep away from Ritalin if this has been recommended by a Doctor.

Either her medicine isn't working or she doesn't have adhd. Have her dr reaveluate her.The dr thought My nephew had adhd and he was a total brat! When he was 2 he got mad because the horse ride at the store was broke and he went home and through a chair through his bedroom window. He got mad over the stupidist things and always beat on his brothers and sisters. He through a glass miracle whip jar at his sister's head. Thank god she got out of the way! He called his everyone every name in the book. Now he is 11 and he is doing just fine. He no longer takes any medicine and he doesn't go to a shrink. So my guess is that he never had adhd. How long has she been taking medicine and how old was she when you were told she had adhd? I told you the story about my nephew to give you some hope! Is she like that all the time? Tell her dr that you want to have more tests done. As for the guy that she upset explain to him what is going on(if he doesn't alredy know) and hopefully he will understand.
I wish you the best of luck!

Look into two different comorbid conditions. ODD (oppositional defiance disorder) and Aspergers Syndrom (comes across as being a kind of social retard). I have a son with many issues. The only advice I can give is be firm but not emotional. And try to look at her from two perspectives --- 1 like a parent with all the love in the world for her and 2 like a clinical Psychologist looking for what works and doesn't and also looking for root causes of behaviour. Oh biggie is to keep white breads processed foods etc out of her diet. Also make sure you keep her away from Red dye in foods (hot chips) Good Luck!

My son had the same thing and now is 16 years old. It is going to take a lot of patience and love for you and your family to overcome all. My son has done a lot of things also!! He has gotten ran over at 3, total lost a car by knocking it out of gear at 5 and had me arrested at 6. So, the only thing I knew to do was to just stay home and teach him all I could and get him some help!!!!!!! It seems like a long shot, but I tell you just be patience with her and love her. They grow out of theses terrible things with the more love.

am sorry about it,i had a child who had similar behavior too ,today hes 10 yr old boy and with support and care,he has changed, but he was a lil devil in a shape of a kid,he hurted pets, throw money way from the window,,broke over,10 sets of telephones,,scratched my face, badly, threw objects at my head, all when i would either not do his bidding and wills,or try to stop his tantrums,,he would bully kids, and worse yet, only i,cared for him,he had older siblings, and a father, who did not help to contain or pay attention to him,but thanks god,my prayers, patience and efforts, this lil imp,has become better now, more consciente, aware, responsible and matured, try talk with yr gal, distract her, don't be overbearing, try to make her obey ur wishes,as kids with ADH are a special case
good luck

Good luck, I wish I had advice for you, but i have never dealt with a child of my own with adhd, i would have her doc reevaluate her meds, maybe find something else that will work for her.
