If it is really your drivers license number that you want, and you are not trying to pull something here (sorry but there are scam artists out there), then contact the police and report that you wallet and drivers license are missing. They can run a license check and get the drivers license number for you..

Your auto insurance company will also have that info on file!!

Walk into the department that takes care of driver's licenses for your state or area, explain your license vanished when your wallet was taken. Given them your full name and date of birth, and they can find it and cancel that license and get you a new one with a new number to help protect you from identity theft. Whoever tries to assume your identity and gives your license number will hopefully be arrested for using a stolen license.

While it won't work this time. After you get everything replaced. Lay them on a copy machine and make a couple of copies. One for your car and one for at home.

One year I had my purse stolen 3 times in one year. Snatched from my shoulder twice. I learned the hard way never carry anything irreplaceable in your purse. And keep the copies in one or two places along with the phone numbers to cancel credit cards immediately.

Go to motor vehicles-either on line or in person. But I would like to point out that you should memorize it. It's just better that way.
