You would have to purchase new components to upgrade the RAM and video, although it really depends on what kind of computer you have now. Most desktop computers do have expansion slots to upgrade, but some don't. Some computer motherboards have integrated audio/video/network components that should be disabled if you're going to upgrade. The form factor of your board could also be an issue. Check with the manufacturer of your computer to see if this is an option or if you have a custom made computer, get in contact with whoever built it. Some parts houses will install your hardware for a fee, so if you're not familiar with hardware installation, I'd recommend you have someone do it for you. Also, check your SIMS game to see what the recommended computer hardware configuration is. If your computer is upgradeable, make sure whatever you buy matches that. Good luck.

You need to make changes inside. Buy another graphics card (be careful to check the type you have installed now - AGP or PCI-E in order to buy 1 with the same interface), and also buy another RAM module (check the type you've got before u buy - DDR or DDR2).
Just to tell you yesterday I've upgraded my RAM and Graphics Card! :)

i'd improve to 1MB of RAM first. which will furnish a income for even if you're doing with the computer, no longer merely gaming. in case you're operating intense-intensity video games, it appears like you'll want a faster CPU -- yet do no longer purchase a clean pc until eventually Microsoft relents and themes Vista SP1!

yes, it's something that needs to be installed.
You'll need to go out and purchase more memory and a better video card than what you have now. You'll need to know the specs of your current configuration before buying anything new.
I suggest you have someone who knows about compeuter, check it out for you.

If it's a laptop, you can upgrade your RAM but not video card. If it's a desktop, you can upgrade both RAM and video card. I recommend at least 1GB of RAM and at least a 256MB video card.

It depends on your mother board. If it's at its full capacity, you may not be able to upgrade it.
You should check your motherboards or computers user guide. They usually tell you how to upgrade properly, including what parts you need.

You have to go buy memory/ram and other hardware on your own.
This is all providing your PC can be upgraded.
