He needs to put the cat out if he loves her.It can't be good for her to take medicine all the time.Plus she'll probably build a resistance to the medicine and have to take a higher dosage .Not to mention allergy medicines make me jumpy and nervous.I don't know about her but it could make her irritable and grouchy taking that medicine all the time.Maybe she should tell him she doesn't think she needs to be on allergy medicine all the time so would he please consider letting the cat out.

That's really messed up. I think that if he really likes her enough to say that they are going to get married, that he should keep the cat away from her. I mean like, he could keep it in another part of the house or something. Its like torture sleeping with a cat anyways, and shes allergic! If he really loves her more than his cat, he will keep it away from her. She shouldn't have to suffer because of a cat.

That happened to someone I know. she just got sick all the time 10 years later the cat died and they got a little dog and her whole life changed . The point is that she was sick for years and would not acknowledge that it was from the cat. SAD SAD SAD....She is too desperate to put up with that and I have 2 cats.

Some people have such a bond with their pets that they are more like members of the family then animals. Sounds like she loves him enough to adjust her life to fit into his "family". Cats, like a mother-in-law, both take adjustment. Are your family members disposible? Mine are not. I always say I have 6 kids (3 human & 3 feline). There are plenty of things that can be done to minimize the alergens and I hope they all have a wonderful life together. There are too many pets just thrown away like trash and she is lucky to have a man who is capable of loving a dumb animal that much.

She shouldn't have to come second after a dumb cat. (I do like cats, but come on) She should not have to deal with all that.
