LOL.... seems too many people are missing your point.

You shouldnt take vengence for that anyway. When religion becomes organized, man ceases to be free. It is not God that is worshipped but the group or the authority that claims to speak in his name. It is not faith, but just social idolatry.

If there is a God He should not be like a father in a patriarchal society, who has His favorite children .

God has no special favorites. God as a jealous one and there will be no peace in the religious world.

According to the Bhagavad Gita:

"I am alike to all being." "None is hateful or dear to me."

The Rig Veda, the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita hold that all paths lead to the summit.

"As men approach me so do I accept them. Men on all sides follow my path." God is leading all people of the world on to the fullness of life by diverse paths.

You be happy with yours. And let others be.

Are you the kind of person that believes that "an eye for an eye" means if someone hurts you, you hurt them back?

Well, I say people shouldnt live with vengeance, it makes people miserable. Why do you need people to believe in you? Believing in yourself should be enough. Dont be vengeful, things work out on their own. That saying that goes, "what comes around, goes around" is really true, But you dont even have to think about it. Anyone who hurts you in any way , will eventually be hurt in the same way , but it will be worse and not by your doing. Life will take care of that. Now, you shouldnt live hoping anything bad for anyone , because ultimately even that comes to get you !!!!
Just let people be. No one can hurt you , unless you allow it.

Peace.

There is an alternative. If you (re)act at the moment of the rejection, you're just adhering to the laws of physics/karma and it's not considered vengeance. That's how you get away with it.

"Vengeance is mine, thus saith the Lord."

For it is written: "Repay no one evil for evil. Have regard for good things in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as depends on you, live peaceably with all men. 19 Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but [rather] give place to wrath; for it is written, "Vengeance [is] Mine, I will repay," says the Lord." Romans 12:17-19

"Do not say, "I will do to him just as he has done to me; I will render to the man according to his work."" Proverbs 24:29

`Vengeance is Mine, and recompense; Their foot shall slip in [due] time; For the day of their calamity [is] at hand, And the things to come hasten upon them.' Deuteronomy 32:35

PS "Tolerance" is the new "false religion" of the planet. Jesus did not tolerate sin, though He certainly loves the sinner. And as a sinner saved by His grace, I do praise Him for that!

If you tried everything to convince pple into believing u and they stillchose not to belive you,its their freedom. They are entitled to what they choose to believe in or not and its morally wrong to force them to accept ur beliefs.u shld not take vengeance on them unless they do something terrible to destroy ur beliefs.

Be tolerant long enough and those that do not accept you shall use their vengence to rid the world of your tolerant ways....

Say no to religion.

i too, was repeatedly put down by my friends who discourage me to go for my dream in starting a biz. i am frustrated and feel like retaliating them. i would when they really impose their thpughts on me. but the bottomline is i am the one who will live this dream, thus try not to talk to them when they talk about this issue and let us not retaliate back as friendship is hard to find, we should cherish them. best wishes.

You *should* be tolerant.

But, because you're HUMAN, you're vengeful.

:D I know what you were getting at. ^__^
