The study of the effects of air is a scientific proof that air is material
The story about the love of a son is here-say, you could device a test to analyze the son's feelings towards his parents.
The existence of God is also here-say, and you could not device a test to analyze this existence.
So there is no way to prove that God exists.
you could design a test to find where you can find the effects of the belief in the existence of God, and the result would indicate that these effects are limited to the minds of humans, in the parts that store non factual information/ superstitions and imaginative existence. so you could deduce the the Idea of God is limited to human imagination.

Do you know how many people live life to never expereince true love? I guess they dont experience your God then either...where was he for those people???
Love is nothing more than a human label put on an emotion.

"What is" is the belief that you have in your mind about whatever it is that you are thinking. If "you" belief, "it" is so. If "you" do not believe, than "it" is not.
