My husband and I are driving from Little Rock, AR to near Huntsville, AL for his job this weekend. I didn't have any notice so haven't had time to research. Any ideas on fun stuff to do with three kids ages 6, 10, and 12 along the way and while in town. Thanks.

I'm from St. Louis and have driven down to Huntsville several times and never miss an opportunity to stop by Marshall. Even if you don't go in, the rockets on the grounds are worth the trip.

If you golf, this is also one of Alabama's jewels:

There's the Shiloh Military Park...

But the Huntsville Space and Rocket Center is beyond cool.

Well the funnest place for me was Southern Adventures
It has go carts, bumper cars, rides, ice hockey tables, ect.
It's like a mini Fair in a building
Also there's a water park
