Assume christianity is true. God ends up with say 10 billion christians (who are by and large good people) with him in heaven. Satan ends up with 100 billion people (many of whom are also good people, they just got the wrong religion) with him in hell. a) whos won? b) Is god still omnipotent if from now (judgement) until the rest of enternity, he or his teachings can't reach these 100 billion people, even if they repent, believe etc?

So, if 90% of people go to hell, there would have to be enough thought processes there to create hell a better place. We can do it. 100 billion thinking people wanting change will make things happen real fast.

1) Christianity is not about being good or bad...it is about faith in Jesus Christ, and accepting our fallenness as humans without salvation through his death and resurrection.

2) God already won by sending his son who died and came back to life as a way of paying for the sins of the world. Jesus will come again some day and that will be the point in time where God will give judgement.

3) Are you asking if the 100 billion in hell will have the chance to repent and go to heaven?????

We learn in the bible that God will reign judgement once all of the people of the earth have had an opportunity to decide for themselves if they want to believe in him and his son Jesus. When we hear about Jesus, we each have the individual choice of believing or not. If we believe, we can ask Jesus into our hearts and be saved. If we dont believe then we will indeed be with Satan for eternity.....no more chances.

4) Yes God is omnipotent because he is without time or space (which is part of what makes him so difficult to grasp, but he must be greater than we can imagine or he wouldnt be much of a God)

That is using a large ammount of supposition, but idf you read the bible it has that God has already chosen whom he will exept and the rest stay with the devil. The numbers given in the bible are a lot less than your question. To answer, A) nobody, it's not a contest., B)He would still be omnipotent and each person must decide for themselves. no one can choose for you,so the teaching s are fine. The people are just blind to the bad influence.

Satans power is only in level with the angels he made. No one is above God. Number does not worry God. Gods choice of people to be with Him will never be based on the truthfulness of the religion. It will always be based on the the people who do the right things He established as right for Him. Everything that is good falls on side of God. Christian or non-Christians including the non-religious believer (but believes in what is good) will definitely be taken by Him. Everyone who is bad (believers and non-believers) will be on other side. Christianity, Islam, Buddism, Hinduism and other isms are but just roads people take on their journey through faiths all of them are ways one can choose and no one religion has the monopoly of claiming God's favor. Later on there will be one people, one God, one world.

Obviously there is tons of work to be done in teaching the world of the love of God. Without a doubt God will come out victorious at the end.

I think it's odd that 1,500 years worth of American Indians have to spend eternity in hell because they didn't have access to a phone, fax, TV or email so that they could even learn about jesus.

They lost on a technicality as did billions of others. The devil obviously wins.

How many freaking times do I have to explain this on yahoo. There is no such thing as Satan. God made him up to scare us and to keep his brainwashing going. Lucifer, the Arch angel of white light questioned God and God cast him down from heaven.Samiel another Arch angel descended of his OWN FREE WILL. Free will is unacceptable to God. Hundreds of more Arch angels either fell from grace or descended of their own free will. So if Satan exists he is not one but many and God says there is only one Satan.

omnipotent means all-powerful. Force has nothing to do with it. If you meant to say omniscient, all-knowing, then he would have known who would choose him, and who would turn away

goodness has nothing to do with it. the 12 disciples messed up all the time, denied him and 1 betrayed him. everything has its purpose, and everyone

but we have to have the right to choose, regardless of how good our life is

and numbers have nothing to do with it. Id say that Satan lost, considering his original goal was to overthrow God and name himself a god. considering he stays in hell forever, id say he lost.
