Pissed in the most major way.

And Fireball-you obviously don't know anything about your own religion. That's the problem we're addressing.

I'm a Preachers Kid and not a christian anymore, because I've learned how badly it has been corrupted through the ages(historically proven, do some real research) and turned believers into snippy, self-righteous, intolerant elitists.

According to the Bible Christ's message is incorruptible. Paul wrote that even when preachers preach the Word for their own profit God still uses that word to call his elect. The Bible also teaches that its the Word of God that saves souls and nothing else, so no matter what the messenger's motives are the Word stands on its own. Would Jesus be pissed at His Church? Not the ones doing His work (i.e. feeding the hungry, housing the homeless, comforting the sick, visiting the prisoner, clothing the naked...etc.)

Post script: We are not a Christian nation. No such thing. People are Christian, not nations. And Jesus never taught his disciples to run for office and force non-believers to behave as though they were Christians. Separation of Church and State was originally an idea put forth by the early American Church. The reason being that history has taught us that the Church cannot purify our government, quite the opposite, government has always corrupted the Church. Okay, I'll get off my soap box now.

Yes He would and is right now. He said after His leaving that oppressive wolves would enter the true congragation { Matt 10:16 and Acts 20:29 }. The traditions of man have changed the truth since then. Jesus said that peopl will choose to believe the lie! If He were o come back today in the flesh so called Christians would kill Him. Just like the Jews, when thy were first given the Law {261 } of them. After time traditions of men had changed their beliefs and thinking that they killed their Massiah when He actually came.. How ironic!!!
But the truth of the Bible is still in there. People want to bend the truths into their own beliefs. Eliminate trditions and false teachings and you will have the truth!

Selnyk, all you have to do is read Revelation Chapters 2 and 3 to know what Jesus thinks of the church throughout various periods of history. We are currently in the "Laodicean" age (the last age before the rapture and His return), found at Rev. 3:14-22. He doesn't sound too pleased at all.

Yet, He still urges repentence, which will save those living today from what's about to happen.

Peace.

Remember the turning of the tables in the temple? He got POd, kicked over their tables, spilling their money all over the ground and chased them out of the temple beating them with a switch.

Oh yeah, he'd be at LEAST THAT angry at what we have today.

Yes I think he would be.Since they have turned his every word into a moneymaking deal. His true message has been tailored to suit their needs, not the needs of the people it was supposed to be reaching.
