It's my understanding that Agnostics don't deny the existance of God, they just admit that they don't know whether He exists or not. So, praying is not weird. Perhaps there is a part of you leaning more toward one side than another. Keep doing exactly what you are doing.

Not at all. We all have a need for "quiet time." Whether it may be prayer or meditation. I'm Christian, but I meditate more than I pray. When I do pray it's more of a conversation (one sided) than some the flowerly language that many like to use.

Not at all. I do what you might call praying if there's something I really want or don't want. Even though the envelope isn't addressed so to speak.
No clue if it affects the outcome, but I feel better for doing it.

No. Praying is a way of organizing one's thoughts and dealing with life's difficulties, which can be useful whether or not there is something on the other end of the phone line.

Yeah. As long as you don't expect anything to come of it though i guess it is OK. It's kind of a waste of time though don't you think? Spend the time praying just thinking about how to achieve what you are praying for and you'd be better off.
Watch this video..should help you get over prayer totally.

it's not weird, in my opinion the reason prayer works is because we get what we focus on. I think we have more power within ourselves than most people realize...so when someone prays and gets results they call it a miracle...but really all it is is getting what you focus on. I know, I'm rambling...hope that makes sense and is helpful...just my thoughts hon, use em' if you wish!

According to the movie "Shadowlands" that guy who wrote Narnia (I can't think of his name) said he prayed not to change God, but to change himself. Perhaps you've got a little of that same thing going on?

Maybe what you're skeptical about isn't the existence of a Divine, but its nature and the proper way to worship it.
I don't think that's weird at all.

No, it's not weird. If you are agnostic you don't believe in God but you believe something is out there right? You aren't an atheist.

No, praying without the imaginary friend is called meditation.
