Your vcr will have two SCART 21 pin sockets labeled av1/av2 or similar, you need to connect the SCART on the sky box to the vcr with a SCART lead. then select the input AV? on your vcr, select the channel on your sky box and press record, don't use the aerial lead to tune to the sky box you'll get a poor quality picture.

I`m no expert, but.

Go to the channel on your TV that you normally use to record/change channels using your VCR.
Find an empty channel, then use your search on your VCR to find SKY - don`t move away from the channel your TV uses with your VCR.

To make things easier, have your TV tuned to SKY, then you will know when you have the correct channel - you can then skip between your VCR channel (i.e. No.6 for example) and your TV.

When you have SKY tuned into your VCR, save it.

It would be easier if you had a friend or neighbour to help you if you are not too sure about tuning the VCR :-)

Hope this helps :-)

You can tape sky to video but it has something to do with the frequency of each channel. You first need to make sure that all your Scart connections are right and if they are - Don't really understand this myself but when you are tuning in the tv channel you watch your video on, on the tele and it is too close to the frequency that you pick Sky up on your video you can't pick Sky up. We somehow managed to tune our video on a different frequency and then we were able to get Sky through the video and record off it. Took loads of fiddling around with!!
Sorry if this makes no sense

If you go to the menu and find the manual tuning option you should be able to select a channel, say 6, to tune into and then just scan through til you find Sky. Once it's tuned in you'd set your video to record channel 6 and it should record whatever is on Sky.
