John Paul and 510 driver have it right, sorry but the other people who responded have never owned or even driven one. I sell Nissans and I love that Murano you can get those things freakin' loaded up. Don't be fooled they are spendy(fully loaded with Nav & DVD closer to $40K) but they're worth it and actually Nissans have a higher resale/ trade-in value than any other "American cars" out there. Toyota still has Nissan beat in resale value but believe me I've had to give up alot of money from my pocket to a guy who traded one in it sucked for me but it shows me that I'm selling a great product. I dont know about your area but in mine it's hard to find a used Murano in any year. Besides you won't need a tune-up until 105k miles, they have timing CHAINS which means you will almost never have to worry about replacing that or have any pricey maintenance any time in the far future. The CVT is a great ride and that car can really move. Also if it wasn't such a great car do you think Nissan would take all the best and most unique features(CVT, Intelligent Key, and Bluetooth capable) and put them on their other models (07' Maxima & Versa). Oh and talk about safety the Murano comes standard with side-curtain, front passenger and driver, and built-in seat side airbags and active headrestraints to prevent whiplash and front/ rear crumple zones. Dude thats 6 airbags and did I mention this car is safe it also has VDC as a standard feature, you'll have to go on-line to nissanusa.com to learn more about VDC because if I talk about it I wont have enough room on this page. Anyway did I mention it's safe! HaHaHa!! I totally love Nissan & Toyota because they come up with and use the best in technology & Safety and don't charge an arm and a leg like the American Car Company do. Oh and Nissan is offering No payments Until Jan. 2007 and I believe for Tier 1 (750+) credit 3% financing. Anyway if you buy one ask your sales assoc. to look at the Invoice price on the car and work your way up from there HAHAHA!!!!! I'm sure you're not buying from me but even if you are I'd be glad to show it to you and offer you a Sexy Price For a Very Sexy Vehicle! Have Fun Shopping!

No matter what they say I work on them every day and the Murano is the most trouble free design Nissan has come out with in years! Rear View camera and Navi. is available Intelligent key really cool options rear seat entrainment to keep the kids happy. Really slick CVT transmission and even all wheel drive for mountain people. Whats Not to like? You should be able to bargan year end sales. Check the nissan pre owned Murano's I reccomend New and fully loaded

I was skeptical about that SUV, because I did not know what it offered, then we got a used one at work, that I had to work on. OH MY GOD, that has to be one of the most comfortable vehicles that I have EVER been in. I work with Land Rovers also, and they don't even compare, in my eyes. The Nav, the camera, the bluetooth, the CVT, the keyless start up. The New Jags Just got that stuff, and they are $85k. That thing is great, has lots of power and that transmission is superb. If you get one I gurantee you won't be dissapointed.
And yes I would buy one, I think they are going for around 30K.

If I were in the market for an SUV, yes I would.
They are very nice to ride in and drive,
the variable speed transmission helps fuel economy, and Nissan quaility is pretty good.
What I would pay for it depends on the options.
If I were getting leather, navigation and all wheel drive it would be more than a FWD with cloth and a CD player.
You can spec one out at www.nissanusa.com

Main competition for the Maurano is the new Toyota RAV4 (269hp), Mazda CX-7, and Hyundai Sante Fe (much better now).
In any case make sure you look at TMV (True Market Value) price of the car. This tells you what the average transaction price is of a car. Carsdirect.com and Edmunds.com are both good sources. Anyways good luck!

no. at that price i think you have a lot of better choices. the design is passe. nissans have a lot less resale value too. make a wiser choice and pick something else.
