Some tattoos are bad some not. It is not against the Catholic religion it's just that it is not good for you. I mean forcing ink into your body is not a healthy thing.

I know many Catholics that have tattoos, so i presume it is allowed.
Should you not know the answer to this already if you yourself practise the Catholic religion ?

As a Catholic you are not suppose to do anything to harm your body. Except for drink a lot of alcohol.

According to the Catholic church, getting a tattoo IS bad. Because your body is a temple and you are defiling it by marking it for life... besides, tattoos become disgusting when you get old.. yuck!

As a Catholic, I say go for it. I, personally, have no problem with it and haven't found a priest who was against it either. I have found a few nuts in my church who are, though, but they don't count.

Yes, you can get a tattoo if you are catholic. They are not "intrinsically evil."
