As long as your real age is not an age that would put the gentleman in legal trouble such as a minor. If that's the case leave him alone NOW.

OR if you are both of a legal age:
Wait until one day when you are both real relaxed then casually bring it up, turn it into a ego trip for him. Say something lke..'' From the 1st time I saw you, I really liked what I saw, I knew I wanted to get to know you (i couldn't resist) so I adjusted my age a little, to give you the chance to get to know me. I didn't mean to but I knew you wouldn't date me if you knew I was......
don't give him the chance to answer, bring on the kisses.

Judge his response. If he's upset, back off...you lied and he has a right to be angry, if the ego trip works, count your blessings and be truthful hereafter. If he's r gotten to know you as a person he may realize that you did that because you really wanted to be with him but basically you are not a big liar (we all do it sometimes, nobody got hurt why judge?)

BE SURE TO TELL HIM BEFORE HE FINDS OUT SOME OTHER WAY. THEN HE WON'T BELIEVE ANYTHING ELSE YOU SAY.

All the best.

You should never lie to a guy about anything. Especially when your not even going out yet. You so not want him to think that your a lier because evrything that you tell him, he will think is a lie. Tell him the truth. If he has a problem with your age then it's not worth it lying isn't the way to get someone to like you.

you have already broken the golden rule dealing with honesty. Always tell the truth even if it hurts. There will come a time when you will want someone to believe you and all they can think about is the one lie you told years ago. The truth is a good thing to have follow you.

Its better for you to tell him yourself before he finds out...It'll be worse when he finds out himself, cos he'll get vexed that you lied!
Happened to my friend aswell..
And it depends how much younger/older you are compared to him, but then again, if he really liked you, i don't think he'll care about the age difference..
He might loose the trust in you when he finds out too.

Why did you lie in the first place? From the moment you lied..you should've known you'd have to go through all this..

Hope everything goes well neway =) Even if he does find out, he might forget it after a while lol xx

Why would you want to start a relationship off lying? Just tell him the truth, unless it would be considered statutory rape. In that case, find someone your own age.

Don't lie. Begin as you mean to go on. Telling lies never leads to good things in the end.

You would be penned as a liar and he would have a hard time trusting anything you said. So you better fess up now and tell the truth.

As long as the age difference isn't illegal, he might forgive you. But in the end, no one truly trusts a liar again.
