If it wasn't pushed nobody would have anything to do with it.

This Nation of the United States of America has a foundation that was built upon Christianity. It has never been pushed on anyone, excepts the ones who feel it has been pushed upon them. Too bad they feel like this and really don't realize that it is a gift to us . Some people resent this God given foundation, but the answer to that is: Anyone who don't like it, can leave it. There are other religions here too. Live and let live, but don't condem our Christianity in this Free country. You don't have to be a Christian and why would you feel it is being pushed on you ? I just want you to know that this Land began on Christianity, and it will continue on.

Christianity is not being pushed. It is being preached.Noone can force anyone into believing what they believe.Christians are just doing what God has asked them to do,and if some do get pushy, they are going about it all wrong. We aren't supposed to be argumentative and we aren't to push our beliefs down anyone's throats. We are simply to preach what we believe and let the listeners choose for themselves wether to believe or not.If someone asks me a question concerning God and His Word,I answer to the best of my ability.I certainly don't claim to know and understand everything, but I learn more everyday, and my faith continues to grow, but I don't expect anyone to "convert" to my own beliefs, and I certainly don't push my beliefs on anyone. It is a personal choice that everyone makes, and I repect that.In return,I expect the same respect.

Why is any religion "pushed" upon in other countries? Islam pushed and forced upon in Africa, Asia and the Middle East. Come on now, don't be such a bug.

The American People are constantly bombarded with the religion of secular humanism, which is shoved down kids throats in schools and universities, but Christmas, and anything associated with Christmas, is banned by cultural fascists.
Truth is as natural to our minds as oxygen is to our lungs and food is to our digestive system. It is a great mistake to regard the teaching of truth as an imposition. The Church does not, nor can she, “impose” truth.
Rather, she endeavors to propose truths to those who are disposed to receive them. The Vatican’s Declaration of Religious Liberty states that, “The truth cannot impose itself except by virtue of its own truth, as it wins over the mind with gentleness and power.
The Church as Guardian of the Truth and Teacher of the Word provides food for hungry minds. She does not impose the truth; no more than do Christians impose food on hungry bodies when they practice this corporeal act of mercy.
"The Vatican Council declares that the human person has a right to religious freedom. Freedom of this kind means that all men should be immune from coercion on the part of individuals, social groups and every human power so that, within due limits, nobody is forced to act against his conscience in religious matters, nor impeded from acting in accordance with it, in private or in public, alone or in association with others. The Council further declares that the right to religious freedom is based on the very dignity of the human person as known through the revealed word of God and by reason itself." Dignitatis Humanae

You are very much misinformed. If that was true then we wouldn't have separation of church and state in our constitution.
You must consider these groups of people who have freely chosen otherwise:
Wiccans
Mormons
Jehovah Witness
Catholics
Satanists
Pagans
Secular Humanists
Agnostics
Islamics
Hindus
Buddhists
Scientology and more................
Shall I go on? These people are not Christians nor have they been pushed into Christianity. They have chosen what is good for them. Please don't make assumptions next time.

Most religious people in the U.S. are Christians and feel they are justified in propagating their ideas in any way possible, because they're "right" and everyone else is "wrong." Nonetheless, the religion is not pushed upon people so much as it is leveraged to accomplish political goals, frequently by individuals and groups who don't necessarily represent the religion as a whole.
