After watching everyone socialize and get drunk...it looks fun. You are tired of being on the other side of the counter. Also, you don't have to sneak a shot anymore. Also...it is always a challenge to hurry and make last call somewhere even if you don't feel like drinking, you just have to, have to, get there and make it before last call. Besides after mixing all night, I want someone else to worry about it. That's my thesis on the subject!

Can't tell ya. I'd take a case of beer home from my restaurant and chill in front of the TV for a few hours before bed.
I really didn't want to deal with more people after close.

I think it's the atmosphere. Most of the people I serve like the fact that they can meet up with all of their friends in the same room, play pool, listen to music, and they dont have to do any of the clearing up!

I think it is the desire to unload after a night of work and to be able to socialize and have fun just like everyone else on the other side of the bar. It is also nice to be handed a drink made by someone else versus your own hands! ;)

Atmosphere, and the fact that they'd like to unwind with adults, not have a busy day and go straight home to a nagging wife(or husband) and screaming kids.
