Notice the word "Tales"

[25] And of them there are some who listen to you; but We have set veils on their hearts, so they understand it not, and deafness in their ears; and even if they see every one of the Ayât (proofs, evidences, verses, etc.) they will not believe therein; to the point that when they come to you to argue with you, the disbelievers say: "These are nothing but tales of the men of old."
Quran 6:25

[31] And when Our Verses (of the Qur'ân) are recited to them, they say: "We have heard this (the Qur'ân); if we wish we can say the like of this. This is nothing but the tales of the ancients."
Quran 8:31

[67] And those who disbelieve say: "When we have become dust - we and our fathers - shall we really be brought forth (again)?

[68] "Indeed we were promised this - we and our forefathers before (us), Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients."
Quran 27: 67-68

I guess we'll find out eventually. If I'm in hell, you were right.

I like warmer climates.

Any religious zealots can safely bet there are people who will reject their ideas, so it stands to reason they will insert some threat to nonbelievers in their holy text. This is doubly true for Islam, which did not come into existence until the 7th Century, long after Christianity and Judaism.

Also, your final proposition is Pascal's Wager, which is a logical fallacy.

You know, I read the lord of the rings when I was a child - I loved it. I also read the bible represented in novel format - it was also good.

I don't believe in hobbits or other supernatural beings!

You can quote scriptures to prove any point you want, it doesn't matter if the person you're talking to doesn't believe them to be anything more than a story written by man.

Toodles.

And your question is? Doesn't matter if it is the bible or the quran they are merely fairie tales, worse and much more dangerous than fairie tales actually because their intent in not merely to tell a story but to influence and control people. Your attempt to use fairie tale in order to prove the fairie tale itself if feeble.

There is nothing amazing about the fact that whoever wrote these books had the foresight to KNOW that people would eventually find it all to be nothing more than stories of old.... That makes it true? that proves there is a God? No, it proves only that they had the foresight to know we would swallow that crap a 1000 years later.....

What do you call the Egyptian Holy Books? Legends, right? Your religion, hell, ALL RELIGION is the same.....nothing more.

If I "turn back to [your] 'Lord'" with obedience, I lose my own feeling of free spirit and the happiness I have gained from converting to Paganism.

Good day.

What would I lose? My self worth. Why should I believe something with holes you can drive a truck through just because angry people tell me to?

Why are you worried about the non-believers? Everyone has a right to believe what they want to believe without being ridiculed and condemned for it. Worry about yourself.
