I have a three yr. old nutured male simese I bottle raised at 4-5 weeks old. Lowes ordered the litter killed and he was snuck to me. Baby has made my life interesting. He'll meet me in the dark hall, jump waist high at me scaring the daylights out of me ,then, while I'm still screaming bloody murder he runs off cat laughing(Yes, I said laughing). He does this on purpose! Intelligant, you better believe it! He opens cabinets to let me know it's feeding or snack time. He wacks me or my friends on the bottom to let us know it's bedtime and we need to stop talking so he can stretch out on the table and get his cat nap. He just knocked an unlit candle and base over and when I came running to see what was going on he stood looking down at it as if to say, "Now who put that stupid thing in the place I wanted to jump on?" He looked to me then back at it as if silently to say, "Yeah, we know who did it." He's as big as a small dog and quiet spoiled not knowing he is an animal or old cat. He hides in my grocery bags and loves to run about with the plastic bags about his neck (could he be playing Superman, I wonder)? I wouldn't put anything past this cat.He watches the fish on my computer.Even as a male he babied and took little Road Kill under his wing and taught her how to be a cat; use the potty, rub up against me and beg. He's a great cat but very possessive of me and my attention and will push the little one aside to get the rubs and pats. My life , I think, would be very empty without his love and morning cat greetings when I walk into the room. I can't leave the house for more than 2 days without calling home to the cats or the 2 tear the house up and empty the cabinets. I am often told they're not normal animals...perhaps not, but they never cease to amaze me at the way they communicate and get their thoughts across. Who is training whom here I often wonder...so far the cats are ahead on that count.

I have fostered many cats, and one of my most enjoyable was a Siamese/Mau mix, a cat show mistake. I have always loved vocal cats, and got more than my fair share from this cat. As far as anything other than their little quirks, I haven't found them smarter than the average cat. Rather, I believe the Heinz 57 cats (AKA Domestic Shorthair/medium hair/longhair) are the most intelligent domestic cats.

I have two Siamese that reside at my parents house. Guess is a lilac point about 14 years old. Shes very mean now that shes getting older. Then theres Romeo. Hes the best cat ever. Seal point. Fat and very very loveable!! They both have icy blue eyes... but only guessy's eyes are Crossed. Yes they are both very stubborn... only want to be pet on their terms. You can yell at Romeo for doing something mischievous... and He looks at you like.. Who me? Puleeze, Lady. lol.

I have a siamese and have ahd several others in the past.
I love their personality and they are great companions.
I like the fact that they do not take any stuff off the dogs and they will stand up to my dogs.

I have a Siamese/Himalayan cat. He is definitely temperamental, but the sweetest cat you could ask for.

I have a Siamese named Sephora. She is extremely pious and loves to do nothing more than stand anywhere statuesque. She loves to "talk" but it is more of a yowl.
