Hello, practicing homosexuals are immoral!
They cannot and should not be allowed to recieve communion at any place.
Why do they even want to try to belong to a Christian or God-believing religion anyway? The Bible teaches AGAINST homosexuality.
Hello! Why try to be a part of something that you obviously do not belong while you're busy practicing extremely immoral and unnatural things?
Just a thought.

If by "practicing", you mean "engaged in an active sexual relationship with a person of the same sex", then the answer is that such a person should not receive Communion. The same thing applies for anyone engaged in sexual activity with a member of the opposite sex outside of marriage.
And to answer a previous question:
Yes receiving communion from a priest who is guity of sexual child abuse is still holy. The holiness of the Sacrament does not depend on the priest or bishop, but on the Holy Spirit which makes the bread and wine into the Body and Blood of Christ.

There is nothing biblically that speaks to practicing homosexuals receiving or not receiving communion. Neither is there a Roman Catholic law that specifically addressed this. According to the bible, every Christian is supposed to accept communion with a clean heart. That means that all sins (of whatever nature) are to be confessed. Yes, Catholics do this during every mass before communion. Other denominations are instructed to confess their sins before God quietly before receiving.
So, if a person has confessed their sins (again, whatever they are), then yes they should be able to receive communion.
Here comes the problem. As for the "practicing" part, that's an issue because fornication, whether with same-sex or opposite-sex is contrary to Christian teaching. So, anyone engaging in sex outside of marriage is sinning. If you are a practicing homosexual or a heterosexual engaging in this, you are out of order biblically and are sinning. We are not supposed to confess sins, receive communion and go right back to the sins we just confessed. In actuality, do we all do this? Of course! We are all guilty of sinning, confessing and sinning again. I have a hard time singling out homosexuals for their behavior, when we all have behavior that is unacceptable in the eyes of God. No one tells the rest of us to stop receiving communion!
As for "practicing" homosexuals receiving communion...I'm never going to say they should not receive. That's between them and the Lord, just like my receiving communion (in spite of my issues) is between me and the Lord.

Why would a practicing homosexual want to take communion (Which represents a Holy Communion with Jesus Christ), who by the way, taught against the sexual sin of sodomy and homosexuality?
If homosexuals want to worship a god that says it is ok to be homosexual, then they have their God-given free will to do so. They can go start their own fellowship of believers that believe the way they do.
The only reason I can think that a homosexual would demand the right to take communion in a Catholic church is to stir up strife and create a battle, politically and spiritually. It would be for their own agenda, which in this case means that they really aren't doing it for the real reason of "COMMUNION WITH CHRIST."
"Woe to those souls that they would take the HOLY COMMUNION WITH CHRIST and use it for their own self-serving agenda."

No. The Catholic Church very clearly states that homosexuality is a sin and ergo practising homosexuals are in sin and cannot receive communion.
Practising homosexuals may however give communion. This is because half the Roman Catholic clergy are pink.

The Catholic Church believes there is nothing sinful about being homosexual. But homosexuals like all unmarried people are called to celibacy.
The Church specifically says that "every sign of unjust discrimination in their regard should be avoided."
By "practicing" I assume you mean being single and not being celibate.
The Code of Canon Law 916 states: A person who is conscious of grave sin is not to celebrate Mass or receive the body of the Lord without previous sacramental confession unless there is a grave reason and there is no opportunity to confess.
I have heard opposing opinions that homosexual sex is or is not a grave sin. The Catechism of the Catholic Church seems to be rather vague on the subject:
Is grave: Basing itself on Sacred Scripture, which presents homosexual acts as acts of grave depravity. (CCC 2357)
Is not so grave: They must be accepted with respect, compassion, and sensitivity. These persons are called to fulfill God's will in their lives and, if they are Christians, to unite to the sacrifice of the Lord's Cross the difficulties they may encounter from their condition. (CCC 2358)
With love in Christ.

Practising homosexuals can and do receive holy communion, as do many so called Roman Catholics engaging in illicit sex.

Practicing homozexuals shouldn't be Catholic.
Not only is Catholicism a trick of man... it is also a religion that willl never be accepting towards homosexuals...
Communion is a ritual... rituals are pagan... pagan is Satanic...
So if you wanna be a practicing homosexual Christian... go join a Bible church where they know everyone is a sinner and no one is better than the other...
For some reason Catholicism tends to forget that point...
Don't listen to any "Christian" who says other wise...
Matthew 7:2-4
2 " For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 "Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? "

Here's the thing...in order to be both, you have to break the rules of your 'God'. Once that's done, I'd like to assume you wouldn't be able to receive communion or that taking it would be wrong . I think it's a give and take sort of ordeal. I myself dislike organized religions on the basis they don't do much for me, but I'd rather support homosexuals than religions any day of the week.

Not according to the rules I remember, but they did allow us to receive it at other churches.
But what difference If the Priest is having sex with boys.
And the bishops and cardinals fail to report the crimes?
I have a better question "You receive communion from a pervert. Is it still holy"?
