if its in the egg it will have one egg tooth on it's top beak which when the chick rotates will be used to cut the egg open,this then wears away fast leaving no teeth.

That would be none. They have an "egg tooth" to help them out of the shell, but it breaks off quickly. Besides, at that point she would be a "chick" rather than a "hen."

hens dont have teeth, but they do eat an enornous amount of grit through out the day . this lays in the crop and helps to grind down the food it eats. lots of chicken keepers supply grit from pet shops to help with digestion
