Well... popcorn is a white starch of sorts and it's easier to lose weight without but it's my favorite food so I MUST have it. lol
I've been buying the 100 calorie portion bags and that's worked very well. When I go to the movies I sneak in a small bag of sugar pea pods (you can get them at walmart) they are crunchy, pretty good and so low calorie. Much better than anything you can get at the theater. I still break down and once a few months or so get a small movie popcorn. BTW I've lost 50lbs in the past 7 months!

Just get a small popcorn with no extra butter as long as you are only eating it a couple of times a month you will be fine.

Actually popcorn is a pretty sensible snack as long as you don't put butter or salt on it.
(and don't get movie theatre popcorn, even without "extra butter" it is popped with oil and covered in a powered butter/salt. I used to work at a movie theatre.)

I don't think popcorn is a bad thing, it all depends on how you prepare it.
Try popping it in Extra Virgin Olive Oil- a very healthy oil. Sprinkle with a little salt and Molly McButter. It's really good this way .
If you're going to the theater, stash a bag in your purse.

Eat whatever you like, so long as you burn more calories than you eat.
But if you can't go to the movies without eating popcorn - do something else instead of going to the movies - maybe go for a walk/run/rollerblading or something.

popcorn is a good way to help loose weight. If your hungry and want a little snack, instead of chips or cookies.. but no butter or salt!

No....but all the crap you put on top of it (butter, salt, parmesan cheese, brewers yeast, etc.) should be.
And I'll tell you what I tell all people trying to lose weight: only 20% of your caloric intake goes toward actually moving your body; the other 80% is needed just to maintain your body weight. That means that no amount of exercise is going to cause you to lose weight near as efficiently as cutting back on how much you eat.

You can eat popcorn, leave off the butter. I spray butter spray on mine and season how i like it (the butter spray makes the seasoning stick).

NO!!! Popcorn is not bad for you. Its the Butter and salt that you add to it that is bad for you.
So if you can eat it without that stuff you are fine to eat it.
