I believe a higher power created us either on purpose or by accident and has lost interest or doesn't realize we are here, and yet I still pray but not necessarily to it. When we die we most likely just disappear. We control our life and the commandments were wrote to keep us in check as was the idea of hell.

Doesn't matter, you seem to be pretty level headed. Why do you need to be pigeon holed?

The following site may be of interest to you:

It is the "belief-o-matic" test which will tell you what religions you are most closely aligned with.

You have some Deist characteristics. A Deist is one who believes that God created the world, set it in motion, and thereafter has very little interaction with it. There are a good many Deists who actually signed the US Constitution, and many of them prayed, though I never quite understood the purpose of praying to a God who has no interaction with the created world. But as you say, you do not necessarily pray to that God. Perhaps your prayers are more like affirmations to yourself, or something like that.

In any case, I would look up Deism if I were you and see what you think. Many Deists do believe vaguely in the Bible and the Commandments.

It could very well be that you don't fit into any established or defined religion. That is ok. It doesn't mean your beliefs are wrong or even unconventional. You might find some fellowship in the Universalist Unitarian church, which is very open-minded and you might encounter some like-minded people there. Check them out!

No religion in particular. You have simply formed an opinion.

Prov 16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. KJV

That doesn't sound like a religion at all. Its just a simple belief system. I would say you're no religion at all.

I'd say religion is not your problem. You have no faith if you think we just vanish after death. No matter what denomination you want to follow without faith you go to hell just the same.So you need to decide if you can have faith then you can decide what religion is right for you.

Maybe agnostic - not sure. I am a Christian - following Jesus - that is not a religion - totally different.

You aren't any religion and your views are logically sound although I don't happen to share them.
