My husband and I are looking to relocate to Atlanta, GA in March with our two young children. How do we go about doing this? We will need employment, schools and so on.

Why?? I just moved to get out of Atlanta...its not all it seems to be! All I can say is try to stay near the north side and be safe. It damn sure ain't all its cracked up to be. Plan on ur children developing a new form of "ghetto". Last time I checked theres a waiting list to get a job at the Burger King...no jobs worth having. School system sucks...u can look that up on the internet its been proven by actual facts. I'm not really sure what happened but its just not the same anymore. It seems like the whole city is falling apart neighborhood by neighborhood. Its not safe anymore, its not as entertaining as it used to be, and its kinda like on big trash heap. All I can say is good luck to you!!

Get on the Internet and do some research! I have lived on the East Coast my entire life and last month, I decided to pick up my family and move to Dallas, TX. My son is 17 months old, so I made it a priority to find a good neighborhood, good daycare and medical facility for him and based all my decisions off that criteria. I googled the city and found that city's website. It gave me all sorts of information about that area, cost of living, job opportunities.

So check out www.atlantaga.gov this looks like a great website!
