you are more than just your body, and yes that makes you an individual soul just like the rest of us. And you don't need an outside entity to give you what is already yours.

Why didn't the Easter Bunny leave me caramel-filled eggs? Why didn't Santa bring me an advanced release PlayStation 3? Why doesn't Elvis answer my letters?
Cause there's no Easter Bunny, no Santa, and may never actually be a PlayStation 3 if they keep delaying the release, Elvis really is dead (no one's sorrier than me about that), and there are no gods or souls, though there is "soul food", which, made right, is the food of the gods (cornbread stuffed chicken even makes me say , "Thank ya Jay-suz!")

God gave everyone a soul,including the atheists,but He also gave everyone free will to choose where their souls will spend eternity after the earthly body passes on.Our souls,our choice.It doesn't get any simpler than that.

Theists are good at wishing things into existence. They believe god exists, so he does (to them). They believe souls exist, so they do (to them). You and i as atheists don't believe in the notion of a soul... therefore we don't have them. The only way to have something that isn't real is to imagine it. I guess that makes me a billionaire.
