I think you'll find that you have less and less in common as the years go by. I also think that your energy levels are always going to be very different. If you stayed together, you would eventually be caring for him like an aging parent.

The rule of thumb is half his age +2.
So, that would be 25 (46/2=23 and 23+2=25).
Anything under 25 is too young.
Done.

I think that is really nasty!! He's almost old enough to be youre dad!! But hey if you like the elderly than go for it. But youre probably a beautiful young woman with a lot going for you and could probably find someone younger!! I mean when you're 30 you'll be changing his diapers so maybe i will put it this way you dont have to get knocked up when your 27. But Good luck with whatever you decide!

I dont think he is too old for you. If you get along great, communicate well, and have the desire and will to make things work then that is great. I was engaged to an older man myself. I was 19 and he was 33. It was great for us until things got in the way. Anyway point being if you both are happy then age is just a number once you reach 18 (LOL). Enjoy each other and live life.

Age is just a state of mind. If you look at your maturity level it is probably on par with a bfr his age. Females are more mature than their calendar age and men are less mature; so therefore you are meeting in the middle. He is at an age where he will probably be more trainable and easier to housebreak anyway. Enjoy.

I'm 46 and if I had a 27 yo girlfriend there would certainly be a big generation gap and it would be tough to relate..
Now it depends,,, are you mature for your age? Have you experienced a lot of "life" so far? If so, it may work out ok w/ you and him. One thing though,,,, just make sure he's not just "using" you for sex.. ok?

That mess is so gonna get you in trouble. Sure your not the young lil chick who messes with some older guy which can get him in trouble with the law but seriously! Ok...let me kinder about this since i had a couple of older guys in my life...if you really love him then try it. If nothing works out and he just wants things then drop him. Still the younger girl older guy thing doesn't sound so smart. Try finding someone your age who will love you for you! Theres always someone out there who is bound to be your soul mate...if this is the guy...then sobeit. Good luck girl.

If you have to ask this question, then yes he is. There is bound to be a huge difference in maturity level. Otherwise, you would feel comfortable in the relationship to the point that you need not ask this question to a bunch of strangers.

At your age, no. If you were 22/ and he 41, I would say yes. At your age you should have your life figured out. So if you like him there is no problem.
The only time age becomes an issue is when one is so young they can not have figured out what they want in life.
