Go and do something she is really in to, so she feels comfortable enough to relax. Since she won't bring up the subject, it's your time to make a move. Confront her with it, and she will tell you how she feels.

Personally I think it is childish. If you like someone you gotta tell them and don't miss the chance, coz some other girl will come along and do it...

talk to her, ask her... if she's still shy about, give her sometime... if she hangs you in the air for quite sometime, keep distance for awhile. then wait 'til she really misses you and I bet she can tell you then... goodluck
