in italian sentences the subject often is obmitted so
there is only the verb
for example
faccio (I do)
vado (I go)
mangio (I eat)
bevo (I drink)
and lots of verbs in this way ^_^

And, yes, no is a complete sentence in Spanish, English, and Italian.

In Spanish, "Es" (He/she/it is) would be shorter than "Soy," and given the "you understood" in English commands, the shortest sentence would be "Do."
