i dunno, it's just something about him. I cannot see my life in the future without him. After 5 1/2 years i still get this giggly, gushy feeling when i talk about him - i still get excited to see him (and we live together, rather sad, i know - lol). There is just something about him that makes me not want to be away from him. I can't really explain it. He just makes me feel safe and comfy! :) Our life is not all candlelight and roses, he's just an ordinary guy being himself. Good luck!

Its an unanswerable question, everyone is different, what makes you happy could depress someone else, and with the fear of sounding jaded here, there is no certainty that someone is the right person for you, people change throughout their lives, couples who have been married fifty years can suddenly hate each other. If you feel you love someone make the most of every moment it lasts, hopefully that is a very long time, but remember love and relationships have to be worked on, compromises made, and a little forgiveness along the way.

A couple of years ago my husband and I saw a one man comedy show.

The actor spent most of the show trying to remember the name of his girlfriend's cat. They had had a fight that culminated in her throwing him out, in part because he couldn't even remember her cat's name. It started with an "S" and ended in a "y" and it was something that all women craved in relationships.

Most of the women in audience figured out what the cat's name was halfway through. You could hear it whispered from woman to woman in the audience. But the men were clueless.

At the end of the show, the actor remembers. The cat's name is Security.

The fact that every woman in the audience (including me) figured it out quickly tells you something.

We know things are going to change. We will change. We will get wrinkled, our boobs will sag, if we become mothers our bellies will paunch, eventually menopause with strike. We know our men will change too. Even love will change. What we want to know is that when love does change it will grow stronger, it will deepen, and that it will be there no matter what other changes come.

Any guy who can give a woman that sense of security should consider himself engaged!

What makes you love him is the way he makes you feel when you are with him. What makes you want to spend the rest of your life with him, not wanting to spend the rest of your life side by side with anyone else but him.

The way you can communicate with one another is a big factor. Sometimes you want to love somebody so much but there just isn't any chemistry there! You have to be able to trust that person and be honest with them. It all goes hand in hand!

He comes into her life and makes her smile when she wakes up; he's there to be a good friend; he protects her heart; he includes her in his plans for the future, and she can see everything she's ever wanted in a man in him.

Things that may/may not affect this sort of bliss;
*the ability to read eachother's thoughts...
*empathy
*sympathy
*ability to talk about problems
* ability to get along well
*non-long distance (i'm long distance with my bf right now, so it's possible for a relationship to work)
*happiness!
*being able to communicate without words/without needing to even be in the same room
