I have found the best way to get revenge when someone has humiliated me is to pray resentment prayers for them.

And what is a resentment prayer? I pray for that person exactly what I want for myself. Simple? Definitely effective. Do I always remember to pray the resentment prayer for the person who has humiliated or wronged me? No, seems like I had rather wallow around in the misery.

Guarantee: when I pray what i want for myself for another person who has wronged or humiliated me---the effect is wonderful---those feelings, you know the ones of hatred---they quickly go away and are replaced with Peace of Mind.

Sometimes the offense can be almost diabolical or the memory continues to linger and linger. I have a choice: either wallow around in misery or pray the resentment prayer for the person.

It is not possible for someone to successfully humiliate you unless you first put yourself in a compromising position. I tend to avoid those compramising positions, so whenever someone *attempts* to humiliate me, I establish a snotty, better-than-you attitude, use cutting yet non-offensive words to make the person trying to humiliate feel about 3 feet tall while imitating them as best I can. A funny limerick about them is sometimes added for extra "Spice." When they lose their cool, everyone gets to see them for who they really are. In other words, I make it backfire.

Never. I am not easy humiliated, heck I do it to myself most of the time and revenge seems petty.

Never gotten revenge on someone personally; though people who've crossed me DO have a funny habit of having horrible stuff happen to them immediately afterward. To date, we've had:

1.) One business go belly-up,

2.) One heart-attack,

3.) One divorce,

4.) Three people fired from their jobs,

5.) And one person had his daughter die on the operating table during a simple tonsilectomy.

Best not to p!ss me off, you see.....

Not since I became Buddhist 4 years ago. I forgive and move on.
