I use it to control psoraisis in my scalp. I always wondered why it makes your head tingle.

Its cleaning our your hair pores. Kinda like Hydrogen Peroxide tingles when you apply it to cuts and scrapes.

Coal Tar is a KNOWN CARCINOGEN and one of the WORST ingredients for shampoo.

Please see a doctor for a different form of medication to deal with your psoraisis.

They almost always add some menthol also, it helps combat the smell, and menthol in and of itself helps reduce inflammation just a tiny bit. Check the label and see if it does.

It is the menthol that does that.

It kills bacteria so it tingles.
