It's high time the police involved civilian groups in their processes. Dealers should be consulted about drugs busts. Pimps should be consulted about whore house raids. Embezzlers should be consulted about the activities of the Fraud Squad. It's important to develop dialogue with these and other minority groups so as not to alienate and offend them.
