First of all, your're playing with fire if you're looking for other contraceptive devices other than a condom. If you're only thinking about getting pregnant then you have a whole lot more living to do. Sex is over-rated, even if you're doing it right. :) However, I'm not the one to judge, it is your life. You should look into female condoms. They have the sponge. There's contraceptive foam and spermicide. There's alot of things to prevent pregnancy, however, condoms will give you the best protection against STDs. And they can't keep you from getting warts or herpes. There are other ways to be intimate besides having sex. You should think about the true reason why you're wanting to have sex. If women would stop linking sex with their emotions then they'd be better off. If you got to spread your legs to get him to stay, I don't care how fine he is, then he isn't worth your time anyway.

Avoiding is the best way my dear but still I have a tip for you which I practice myself as I don't want anymore kids. It is by counting the days every month. From the first day that you have your period, count ten days and then the last ten days before you have your period again. So it is already twenty days right? The days left in the middle is when your body is at the tip, I mean that is when your eggs are develope and that is the best time to get pregnant. The other is a little uncomfortable that is to incert a rubber hose and pump water each time after you have sex but you must do it right after you had sex and don't wait for even a rest.

If you already have liver disease, the last thing you need is Hepititas. A condom does more than just prevent unwanted pregnancy. It protects your body from disease.
Any other form of birth control allows for the exchange of body fluids, and thus the chance of catching something.
Hepititas is quickly becoming very large scale. Why there is not more media attention, I'm not sure, but it is reaching epidemic proportion.

Semen and vaginal fluids carry STDs--both viral and bacterial--better truly than saliva on my own so oral/genital contact is better likely to bypass an infection than oral/oral contact. It relies upon on the pathogen. human beings are prevalent to have had gonorrhea infections contained in the throat from oral sex even as direct oral transmission is uncommon because it would not frequently live contained in the mouth. that would not make it no longer accessible, merely somewhat unlikely. Hepatitis, HPV and herpes can all be transmitted orally. HIV is quite fragile outdoors the body so there must be direct fluid to blood contact, and there is continually minor tearing in vaginal or anal sex. it truly is how that is spread. that is totally a lot less likely that you're going to have open wounds on your mouth (besides the very undeniable truth that no longer no longer accessible) so HIV is infrequently spread that way and that is lifelike to say that that is in no way spread by kissing. which will be reported of countless STDs yet no longer all of them. They used to make a huge difference between oral and genital herpes. no longer lately, although. Now they are not making the excellence by the position the virus is residing yet by the fashion of virus. There are authentic protecting measures. Wrap it. Thorough testing with shared consequences. Monogamy. it truly is a level of probability. Oral/oral has the least probability (yet nonetheless has some), oral/genital or anal has better and genital/genital or anal the most probability. no longer something is thoroughly secure, both. The bacteria that causes ulcers will be transmitted orally.

Use vaginal foams/creams (that have spermicide in them) in addition to condoms. You can buy them right next to the condoms in the same aisle of the store, usually. Otherwise, I would suggest an IUD, but that is more of a hassle, getting one put in by a doctor, etc, and they probably wouldn't give you one anyway, because you are so young.

The diaphragm is your best bet as long as you know your partner is clean. I would go to Planned Parenthood before having sex and both of you get tested for everything before going any further. If you too shy to do that then your alternatives are male condom, female condom and abstinence.

yeah, there's other forms of BC now. You could try an IUD, O-ring thing or the depo shot.

Speak with your OBG and your Gen Pract and have them collaborate...so you can get a BC that is safe for you.

Condom is probably your best bet, but keep in mind it is only around 97% effective. Your best bet is to use a spermicidal lubricant along with the condom for best effectiveness. Tell him that if he wants to stick it in you, he had better wrap it up first!
