I am a drama student and need to record speeches etc as well as work on my own speaking voice and singing. Cheers!

I'm in the Uk by the way, so, for example, I dont think I can get stuff from Walmart, thanks for your reply though!

The better Olympus ones have a "high Quality" setting, though that probably records for less time, and some MP3 players can record voice too.

go to Dixons, there are many. But nowadays, people are using their I-pods to record lectures, for instance. Then you can upload them to your i -tunes and have what you recorded in the computer.

go to wal-mart they have great stuff all the time,for cheap so they say.
