Do not hesitate....do not read any more posts....do not pass go.....do not do anything else but call your veterinarian right NOW.
The biggest cause for treatment failures (death) due to theobromine toxicity (from eating chocolate) is failure of the owner to get the pet to us in time, especially tiny little dogs such as this.
It's not an "allergy"...it's a TOXICITY. And don't give milk!!! Are you people TRYING to make our jobs even harder?!?!!
If you wait until he's showing symptoms, that means the theobromine (and caffeine) have already entered his bloodstream and are affecting major organs.
By then, the treatment is much more extensive....and expensive....than what would need to be done BEFORE symptoms have time to develop. And in the itty-bitty dogs, it's often too late to save them once they start showing symptoms.
Just half of a Hershey bar can kill a dog that size.
So......DON'T WAIT.
Please.

My wife make chocolate cupcakes about 4 dozen for a party. I had a full grown doberman , 2 yrs old. Wife set them on back of the counter, covered, to cool off, etc. We came down the next morning to a kitchen full of brown emptied cut cake papers. Yep my dog ate all 4 dozen chocolate cupcakes, cream filled. Called the vet, advised to keep an eye on him . Well, 11 yrs later he passed away. they say chocolate is bad for dogs, that I do not know, but did at the time, but my buddy had a good life

Take him to the vet now. It sounds as if your dog has Bloat, which means you will lose him in less than a half an hour if he doesn't have surgery immediately!
No, this is not a joke. I took a vet assistant course last year and we were taught the symptoms and result of Bloat. Other than chocolate being bad for dogs, if he ate a lot, it sounds as if his stomach literally turned over by the way you discribed him trying to vomit and go to the bathroom and not being able to do either. The result is death if you do not act NOW!

This happened to my dog around Christmas. I called the animal hospital and they said to give the dog a tablespoon of peroxide (the medicinal one not the bleach one). I did that and the dog immediately began throwing up. For the next few days, I also had technicolor poop in the backyard from the wrappers.
Of course, always follow up with your vet for the sake of the dog.

The danger level of chocolate consumption for a dog is 1 ounce per pound of dog. A dog that small could easily have eaten enough chocolate to kill him.
If you're sure the amount he's eaten is well under 1 ounce per pound of dog, then you're fine.
If you're not sure, call the vet.

As you might know is not good that your dog has eatten chocolate, but is to late now the only thing you can do is watch him,or take him to the vets asap, just to be on the save side, like you said you do not want to loose him because of Digestive Problems.

Take him to the vet or at least call the vet to find out what they suggest.
And keep the chocolate out of the puppy's reach, they are like kids, they will get into whatever they can.

Call your vet immediately. Chocolate is toxic to dogs and he is very small, so a little goes a long way. If you wait for something bad to happen, then it will probably be too late for the vet to do much for him.

Peroxide does the trick. Have done it myself. Work in a vet clinic. Make sure it gets down his throat. Use a syringe if possible. try a tablespoon and wait a few mins if no vomit, try again and do not give up until he vomits.
I ended up waiting 15 mins with my dog and she ended up spewing out wrappers and all!
Good luck.
