i just moved into a new apt where they supply "free" cable. i pay for comcast (which has more channels). however, when i run the cable thru the vcr it chooses the apts cable instead of comcast. how do i get it to choose the other one?

i have to run the cable thru the vcr bc the input on the back of my big screen doesnt receive the signal.

I'm sure you'd like a better answer that 'call the cable company.' I mean, it was very well writing and he or she sure took a long time to type that, but I'm going to offer you a little more. In most places where there is 'bulk' cable, channels are controlled from outside, usually in a box. More than likely, this work wasn't done and this is why you aren't getting these channels. So, in this case, 'call the cable company.' One other small suggestion- are you sure you are programming the VCR? This might be causing your problems, as well.

you're nonetheless making use of a VCR? It has 2 inputs? Did you are attempting switching the inputs? perhaps it defaults to a minimum of one or the different. Why even hook up the 'unfastened' cable in any respect, No hook up, no see
