Want a rough estimate. Take the $70 billion passed to pay for the next fiscal year in Iraq/Afghan and divide by 365. That will give you a quick idea. As I recall about 83% of the $70 billion is allocated to Iraq. So take your last figure and multiple it by 83% and that will give you your Iraq daily expenditure.
This is at most all 4th grade math so it should take more than 30 seconds on a calculator.

There is no exact answer to that question. First off there are cost direct military costs in theartre. Then you would have to add costs of support from the US( medical, ammo, food, fuel). Then add in the cost of contracted work( From KBR to Pizza Hut). Add in the cost of build the new US Embassy. The cost of the Police training force, engineering projects, etc, etc, etc.
So the number can really vary depending on what your counting. Does a guy at Central Command in Tampa, Fl count into your number even though Central Command Runs that area. Does a Preadator drone Pilot in Las Vegas flying a drone over Basra count? Do count the Pentagon Employees giving orders from DC?
See what I mean......

I'm sure it's expensive. But considering the alternative, how much would it cost over here? Just imagine the cost to provide flack jackets for school children on buses. Security to protect all the buses from being set up as time bombs, all your friends walking around with an AK or an Uzi. We don't even need to go into food inspectors, power plants, water treatment facilities. The list is endless. In an under developed country where the infrastructure is not so developed - and who has charged us as being evil - it's cheap by comparison!

how much money did the US spend on WW2? how many people died during WW2? why are you worried about numbers. if that is all you have to worry about you are luckier than alot of people around the world. wait till you can ask the question, where am i going to find food for my kids. where was everyone when complete battalions were wiped out on Omaha beach. stop crying about the same crap that all the others are in here. every damn question is about bush, the war, money, democrats, republicans. damn people. how much money is being spent on the war. who cares. how much money is being spend on abandoned babies at the hospital because the mother did meth the entire time she was pregnant and can't afford to take care of the baby and most likely the baby is screwed for life? that is stuff we need to be worried about. making our communites safer. helping each other like they used to.
