I believe there is no such thing as mourning in hindu. The bodies are cremated the following day. I remember watching Indira Gandhi's funeral back in 1984 and how they set the pyre with her body on it. So, Hindu's have no mourning cards of their own.

The same thing you would write to any non-hindu. Some of the ones I received from my friends and co-workers after my grandmother passed away said things like 'my condolences for your loss' or 'though she is gone in body, she will be in your hearts, minds, and memories forever.' you can find some great ones online, just for some idea for the wording. try americangreetings.com or 123greetings.com. also, i dont know about the particular family you are talking about, but i know that when my grandmother passed away, we consoled ourselves with the though that she was not suffering any longer, and that she was with her late husband and her family that had also passed away.
