ok heres the story...
i live in chicago and been dating this girl for 2 1/2 years.i got a full ride scholarship to a college in st louis,and then she got one to the same school.a month before we were planned to leave i got a job offer making 60k a year in sales,so i decided to take the job and pay off my vehicals and save for a house.my gf says the school is ok but likes their music program(her major) and says she wants to play softball there.based on her talents in singing and softball,she can get a scholarship anywhere,especially closer to home but refuses to even look.am i wrong for wanting her to come home or should she at least look at other colleges with equal or better softball/music programs?

This is a difficult one, you cant i am afraid tell her what to do, her career is as important to her as yours is to you. you were lucky and got offered a great job so didn't have to attend college. She does not have that luxury does she?.
You are not wrong in wanting her to come home no, but I would ask her why this one is so important to her that she is not prepared to compromise a little. maybe it has things there that she needs for her career that the others don't? talk to her, communication is key to everything and see if you cant come up with some sort of compromise

No its not wrong for you but for her obviously it will be..
woman are always bored a certain place if being there too long..
your thinking of settling when she's thinking of living life
well, u gotta be on the same page there.. forcing here isnt gonna get you anywhere...thats for sure..
but be careful...when she does go somewhere new..her surroundings would change so make sure you care for her and her feelings and all...coz if not, you can loose her..
Woman are very weak creatures...

If you love her you will make it work.
Let her pursue her dreams and schooling, b/c if you hold her back she will hold it against you forever.
Just love her and support her and things will work out.

what if she wanted you to go to school instead of taking the job, what would you do? Its her life, let her chose how she wants to live it.
