Truly curious,
Just to let you iknow, I've experienced it. I didn't travel per se. But if it's anything like the Chick tracts, you always see them flying through space with stars and planets around them, an angel is carrying them.

I would be saying things and looking around! "Oh, look, there's a planet that looks like Saturn. Whoa! A gaseous cloud! It PURPLE! Angel? Can you tell me why? Were you watching me all my life or were you just supposed to come and get me? When I get there, God will actually talk to me? Wow! This is great! I hope that there are planets and gas clouds in New Heaven and in New Earth! What's that thing over there? No one had any idea those existed that I've ever heard of! Hey! There is a ring over there and there is no planet in the middle, how come? When Jesus came back to recieve all power and authority, did you notice a lack of power from those who were against God? I wonder how many people I will know in heaven? OH! I hope that I get to talk to the Apostle Paul! He was excellent! And C.S. Lewis! And Tolkien, and Dr. Scott, and John Fox, and Spurgeon, and John the Revelator, and Peter, and Andrew, and Elijah, and Enoch, and Adam, and Eve, and Moses, and Naaman, and Elisha, and King David, and Soloman, and Jonathan, Steven, and Dinah, and Jacob, and Abraham, and Sarah, and Hagar, and Mark, and Luke, and Matthew, and Barnabas, and J. Vernon McGee, and King Henry VIII, and Queen Elizabeth, and Martin Luther, and Polycarp, and anyone else I haven't mentioned, and is it okay to talk to angels? . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

The Bible says in the blink of an eye the believer is alive one minute, and the next they're in the presence of the Lord.

Heaven is not a physical location that one must travel towards. More than that Heaven is a relationship with God in a spiritual place. Only after the final judgement of all will believeres have physical bodies again.

The resurrection from the cemetery comes first. Which heaven? the atmosphere, outerspace, or God's throne?
Christ has to come and take us out of the grave at the second coming. Read the verse about him having many mansions. He said that he will come again. If we were already there, why would he have to come again?

The dead know not any thing.....the bible says so.

It will be done in the blink of an eye. Heaven isn't light years away it's in another dimension. When you leave your flesh body you will be in the presents of the Lord. It's something that the mortal mind can't understand.

no, you go to a holding lounge, there is really quite a long line and it's impossible to stand. Your names are called in alphabetical order and Peter guides you through the light and into a large office where a book of your life is pulled out, then it is decided rather you go forward or you go back to hell (earth) depending on how you've behaved...

FICTION>>>no one has the answer to this!!!

Your spirit floats up once it does not need the body anymore, that's when death of the body occurs. The spirit lives on for ever. I believe it happens in a matter of seconds.

peace.
