I'd call Air Canada. Your travel agent might help, but I prefer dealing with the final seller, because sometimes the agent system is not very good. They might even redirect you to call the airline and unless they are very helpfull I wouldn't waist my time. It's really up to you, though. Either way you probably will have to pay a fee (usually $100 unless you are changing for medical reasons) and the new ticket cost difference.

if you bought it through thomas cook, contact them first. They are more easier to get in touch. Depending on what kind of ticket it is, you might not be able to change the date. Your travel agent will know best.

whether you can change the return date depends on what kind of ticket you bought...try calling your travel agent first, but if they can't help you, air canada should be able to do something for you (although they might charge you an additional fee).

You need to contact the person you you made the travel arrangements through. I'm not sure who Thomas Cook is, but i'm assuming that is a travel agency, so you need to contact them, and they will contact the airline for you.

Contact the airline and request a return date change.
