It is strange,
if he was exacuted by being hanged would we were a gold noose pendant aroung our necks, or a faux rock if he was stoned to death? to answer your question it is siily but christians mainly glorify it because it was up on the cross that all our sins were forgiven

You already know the answer, or else you're really stupid. The cross is a reminder to Christians of how their God died. Because others have died in the same way means nothing.
Right, many thieves have been executed on the cross, also run-away slaves, political prisoners, and just about every one else that you can think of.
By wearing a small cross as a decoration or piece of jewelry does not mean that the wearer is glorifying everyone who ever died that way.

The cross should not be worshiped or glorified. Jesus is risen!
It is a fact that CHRISTians are a "work in progress" as God reshapes and molds them. For some, unfortunately, they do not realise that wearing a cross or hanging one on a wall or bowing before one in church is a "misplaced focus" for the believer.
Once a person directs their focus on anything other than JESUS CHRIST is watering down their experience that could be had in Jesus.
Those who profess Christ in their lives are learning and unfortunately there are even "leaders" who still need to learn to not place such an emphasis on the cross itself.

I don't worship the cross, I worship God. I do wear a cross around my neck though.
Some Christians might worship the cross because they haven't read the Bible.

I don't worship the cross. I look to it sometimes as a reminder of what Jesus did for me. I'd rather see an empty cross than a crucifix though. Because Jesus isn't there anymore!

The only thing Jesus ever stole was our hearts. It's not the cross itself we worship and glorify, it's the symbolism of the sacrifice Jesus made for us, by dying on it. Who else is going to sacrifice themselves for the sins that WE commit? We should ALL be Eternally Grateful.....

Reminds me of worshiping saints statues or a statue of the virgin mary. The cross, really is just supposed to remind us of the sacrifice. Oh, and the empty cross is to remind us that he is alive.

We are to worship the Lord our God and not the cross that He was crucified on. If people want to outwardly show people their love for the Lord, then they need to live for Him and obey His laws.

Because it was at the cross where Jesus sacrificed Himself to pay for our sins so that we can have eternal life.
