My sister frequently sends me cards in foreign languages! We never know what they mean so it allows us to bring whatever meaning we want to it! Silly I know.

It's used in Spain when a child have a hurt, so, for instance a child fells and has a hurt on his arm, then, his father/mother, use to caught him and say that and kiss him in the hurt...
it's said 'rana' only because it rimes with sana (which means get well), there are other versions as:
"Sana, Sana, carita de Rana" or "Sana, Sana, Carita de manzana"
and the phrase is longer than the one you have write, it's
"Sana, sana, colita de rana, si no sanas hoy, sanarás mañana"

It's a song you sing to children when they get hurt so they feel better.
"sana, sana" is heal, heal
"colita de rana" is frogs tail
"si no sana hoy" is if you don't heal today
sanará mañana is you'll heal tomorrow.

It literally means- heal, heal little frog's tail. But it's just an expression meaning to get better, recouperate from an illness.

GET WELL, GET WELL, TAIL OF A FROG.
If you translate exactly as it is written it would be
cure, cure, tail of a frog.
But by translating get well it just rhymes better in Spanish.
It is really a cute way of saying get well in Spanish.
As you can see all words end in A so that they can rhyme.
Also fyi a frog is for good luck.
A really neat little saying.

We say this to little kids when they are sick, or have a bump or a bruise. The literal translation is "heal, heal, frog's butt"....hahaha, in english it doesn't rhyme but it is a sing-song type rhyme you might say to a child when they are feeling bad to help them feel better....
Heal, heal, frog's butt, if your'e not better today, you'll be better in the morning!!

It means "heal, heal, frog's butt", but in Spanish. I am assuming you had some type of injury. That is probably why you got that card which basicly means "get better".
