cause many muslim that i encounter in Yahoo Answer says that David and Solomon are Prophet

They were both. Kings of the Jews and prophets of God. Their decedent Jesus was the one "pure" prophet since he and Adam were the only men born without a father. Jesus is the only one to remain pure throughout his time on earth and is thus the top prophet. Jesus did not die on the cross, he was taken up by God and is awaiting his return during the Golden Age to teach the rest of us how to live on earth under God's laws without destroying the amazing gift we have been given...our home earth.
This is what true Muslims believe.

THey are prophets !
In generally Islam says that as man brain had evolution from ancient days till now ( as GOD wants ofcourse ) , So , GOD sent simple educational religions in the first , then increasesd its details , untill the last is islam , So, Muslims believe & respect all prophets & religions including issaia ( Masseih ) .

Why were they prophets? I thought that prophets spoke the words of God... hmm... okay then maybe I can see Solomon as being one because God did grant him Wisdom... then... does that make me a prophet too because I speak up for God?
