There are actually "superhard materials" that are harder than diamond. For many decades, engineers, scientists, and corporations have sought these materials in order to machine equipment along with synthesizing new material that is more attainable with similar physical properties in order to create parts.

The list of "superhard materials" includes:
* heterodiamond
* ultrahard fullerite, and
* aggregated diamond nanorods

Aggregated diamond nanorods seem to hold the hardness record at the moment.

Did you know that there is a scale used to measure the hardness of minerals? It is called the Moh's Scale of Hardness. It is a scale from one to ten, one being the softest, ten being the hardest. Diamonds do rate in at a ten. that means that the only stone that can cut a diamond, is a diamond. Hope this helps!

Yeah...I'm gonna have to go with diamond. Titanium, on the other hand, is the most flexable...I believe.
