It is a popular candy among children that comes in assorted fruity flavors. It is available in most stores that sell candy. Sometimes the wrappers have jokes on them for the kids that they enjoy. Mainly it's just sugar sugar sugar.

OMG, I used to eat this at the pool all the time as a kid. It was always hard as a rock, and you had to whack it into pieces on a picnic table. I'm surprised I still have all my teeth! (I liked the orange)

depends on who you ask.... i cant say what that one song "shake your laffy taffy" is referring to... but you can guess...
and its a gross candy, marketed to children
