Many understand the term's meaning is that of a woman's labia minora because of its resemblance to "stretched out taffy" and is a term commonly used by men who attend strip clubs. Women with larger labia minora lips are said to have "laffy taffy", a condition common amongst strippers and sex workers.

Some believe the meaning is a woman's bottom that continues to jiggle after she stops moving/dancing. Another less known interpretation can be that "laffy taffy" refers to the loose skin below a woman's buttocks. It is called laffy taffy because it jiggles when the woman laughs. It should be noted that the latter two interpretations do not take into account either that "laffy taffy" candy is a stretchy candy and not the least bit jiggly, or that a hip-hop song is unlikely to have been written about women with fat arms.
