Hav a rational approach, if they were bad then the Govt wud hav canceled their license. The uproar is due to political motive. Dont get carried away.
But the truth is that they are not very good or 100% safe. They do harm ur system, as areated drinks spoil teeth n lead to gastric problem (specially if u hav them empty stomach). But these days even Milks hav pesticide in them, the fast food which we enjoy along the roadside or the sweetmeat from the reputed sweetmart , or even water has problem and un-hygenic materials. Even the air has pollution in it. So if u stop all these alcohal, milk and water then stop this also. Else just o ahead and enjoy, remember such a big company (MNC) hs its reputation to supprort, so they will not intentionally do some mischief. Only the local workers negligence can cause the damage. That happened even in one of the Chawanprash.
Moral of the story - How many things will u avoid.

Why drink such idiotic drinks, when we have better things which are not harming the health and environment and in many cases will add to the local economy.

As somebody said, try fresh juices or plain water.

yes they very much or bad to drink and they should be banned but then the world would be mad, and would probably do any thing for it back. so instead of having that comotion start just leave it the way it is because some ppl dont care about there health they just want things that taste good

completely safe. its all about faith. u need to have faith in any brand to use it. for eg, today u use pepsodent toothpaste, tomm some NGO cud say that it has pesticides. the same cud happen with let's say bisleri mineral water. these accusations will come and go. what u need to do is see for urself. if u have been drinking pepsi/coke all these years and ure fit and fine today, then go ahead and continue doing so. if after reading the NGO's reports u stop drinking the colas, its only coz ur faith in the brand got shattered. its all abt faith.

This all depends on how you define safe. They are unnatural chemical cocktails that have lots of sugar and no nutritional value.
They won't kill you in the short run but they are not doing you any favors by drinking them.

yup...some chemicals were found in the drinks...but obviously no one would put those knowingly in it...i m sure it must have accidentally fallen into it...i dont think it should be banned just because of that...but the consumers should take it in a contained amount...to prevent themselves from blaming others....
