If God hadn't sent Jesus to die for our sins, would God have then strung us all up and crucified us? Isn't that what the meaning of "taking the place of" means?

Like I'd allow that to happen.

The wages of sin is death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

If Jesus hadn't died on the cross for our sins, we all would end up in hell.

He bore our sins in His Body on the "tree"; He paid the penalty, so we don't have to. The penalty is eternal separation from God. If we don't accept His offer of salvation, then we can expect to be eternally separated from God. But, some ask, how could our eternal separation be paid in the 3 to 6 hours on the Cross? Well, it seems that being God, Jesus was able to do in a few hours what would take us an eternity elsewise.

No. We wouldn't each have been crucified. Jesus is the sacrificial Lamb of God, He was the only one who was worthy and the only man without sin.
Jesus shed His blood that we might be saved, without Him there wouldn't be any salvation each of us would have perished and would never experience the glory of God.

NO it means we won't have a chance at all. God would never have forgiven any of us for any thing, and we would all be already in Hell by now... HE probably would have destroyed the earth and all in it a long time ago.Jesus died so we could have a chance, to live on forever with him.he was the only perfect being on this planet. GOD loves perfection, and he loves his son, so whatever Christ asked him he would grant it to him,,,,,, and he asked the Father to forgive us ALL for our imperfections(sins). and GOD did,,( but at a price,,), his son would take on the sins of ever man and woman on this planet and put them on his own perfect self, so he could do away with them, when he died.

Jesus was the "Sacraficial Lamb", the once and for all atonement (Payment) for sin.

"For the wages of sin is death." (Romans 6:23) and "God SO LOVED THE WORLD that He gave His only begotten Son [As that death sacrifice/atonement/payment], that whosoever believeth in Him should not have to die, but instead have everlasting life." ---John 3:16

PS
Is it just me or have you noticed that if and when one of this person's questions, designed to sabotage the message of Jesus Christ, accidentally gives the floor to Jesus Christ, he or she simply removes the question and or rephrases it?

Let us pray that at the very least, when this person poses a question, that he or she has the courage to hear the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth, as it is what it is.

No, our bodies would still die normally, just as they do now. The difference is that our souls were already dead in trespasses and sin. We WERE walking dead. That's why the Resurrection is so important. It means that we who were dead can also be raised from death, just as Jesus Himself was.

No, but we'd all end up in Hell or maybe he would have just wiped out the earth again like he did in Noah's time. When they say"...took our place..." it means he died so we could eventually have eternal life.

We would all be lost when we die if Jesus hadn't done this for us.

No, we would all have spen eernity in hell, it was not physical death Jesus was saving us from it was eternal death. It was only because He was an eternal being that His death purchased eternal life.
